Latest Training Courses

Welcome to the Lets Build training programme for 2008/09.

In 2008/9 the Let's Build Training team as part of their programme delivered modular courses to 944 individuals. Also providing "in-house" training to 640 individuals, giving a total of 1584 individuals who have successfully completed training courses provided by the DAAT.

Many other specialist courses were developed & delivered to support the needs of our multi-agency partners. This is what some peoople have said about our training:

Our new programme continues to offer you a wide range of training that will help develop the competence and confidence necessary to work with substance use.

All of our courses support The Drugs and Alcohol National Occupations Standards (DANOS), which specify the standards of performance that people in the drug and alcohol field should be working towards.

New courses for this year - currently include Introduction to Counselling, Management, Asylum Seekers and Refugees , Inclusive resources and Disability awareness.

Further courses will be organised throughout the year. For example, additional Accredited training, prescription medicines, and developing your training skills.

Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) is an integral part of our service provision, and we are looking forward to arranging a special event later in the year.
