Let’s Builds main aims are to provide information, training, support, and advice around drugs and alcohol issues.

We offer a wide range of training courses that will help develop the competence and confidence necessary to work with substance use. For further details of the courses available and how to book, please click here.

More informal training is also available around basic drugs or alcohol awareness, in the form of 1 to 2 hour sessions, to community groups, e.g. tenants and residents, parenting groups, youth clubs or church groups. Please contact Caroline for further information.

Let’s Build also facilitates the Bond Scheme. This scheme provides funding for those individuals who fit the criteria to enable them to apply for a bond for a property. Click here for more details.

As well as the Bond Scheme, we run a small grant scheme with funding available for recovering and ex-drug users to participate in such activities that will re-build their self-esteem and support their reintegration into society.

Funding is also available for community and voluntary groups to do work around substance misuse issues. It can be used for short-term projects or a one off event. Please contact us for details of how to access funding.

We also have funding for Parents/Carers of long term alcohol users tailored to the individual needs of the carer involving one off payments for specific activities/items that will reduce the stress of caring or may enable them to return to work.

Let’s Build will also facilitate consultation work around various issues relating to drugs and alcohol and we will attend pre-organised events to provide information on drugs and alcohol.
