Please note the tier system relates to the National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse’s (NTA) Models of Care (MOC) framework:
Tier 2 is advice, information and brief interventions and some one to one counselling and group sessions.
Tier 3 is more structured interventions requiring a care plan with the client, e.g. psychosocial interventions or prescribed medications.
Tier 4 is in-patient treatment and residential rehabilitation.
